Mobile Phone: Samsung Sgh-f310 Officially Announced

The much awaited Serenata music phone—also known as Samsung SGH-F310— has been jointly announced officially by Samsung and Bang & Olufsen. This stylish and elegant mobile phone is a quite strange looking device.

Samsung SGH-F310 is a stylish music-mobile phone with 2.26-inch liquid crystal display (LCD) touch screen display and 4GB of integrated flash memory to hold your favorite music/songs that is approximately 1,000 songs. Besides having unique design, the Samsung Serenata also features a navigation wheel that works pretty much just like iPhone’s and it will also have 1.8 Mbps HSDPA connectivity, big speaker and click wheel navigation to wade through your music collection.

This 91g music phone has 1.3-MegaPixel camera with 10 x digital zoom and also have internal memory of 10 MB. For music freak people, this stylish gizmo is just the thing as it has high quality MP3 player attributed with play-list and shuffle and it also offer Audio codec: MP3, AMR (Voice Tag), AAC, WMA, WMA Lossless 9.1 DRM: OMA DRM, Windows Media DRM. It has also video player that supports 3GP and MPEG4 Video Clip Files and video recorder.

With the large scroll wheel on top of the screen, you’re able to navigate through the user interface of your Serenata music phone. Besides this, 3.5G music Cell Phone also features a docking station and built-in “Hi-Fi” loudspeaker and bass system, aiming to produce distortion-free amplified music for up to five hours or around 13 hours through a headset. Apart from Samsung Serenata’s built-in blasting stereo speakers that output high quality of surround sounds, the other features and specifications of the Samsung Serenata includes 4GB of internal memory space, A2DP Bluetooth surround sounds output, and long lasting battery life. However, the major disappointment over the oval-shaped Serenata phone is the missing of built-in digital camera.

The Samsung Serenata operates in GSM 900/1800/1900MHz networks and GPRS, WCDMA, HSDPA networks. Hence, it can be expected that the Serenata phone to be available in United States pretty soon.

Therefore, from my point of view it is worth mentioning the Serenata comes with very cool looking dock and that B&O argues this device could actually function as a decent home entertainment system. And last important thing is its price, the price for Bang&Olufsen Serenata/Samsung F310 is expected to be an incredible, which is 1400 Euro or 2000 US$.
